Nigerian music sensation, Davido, was recently delighted to receive a luxurious Rolex wristwatch as a gift from Atletico Madrid footballer, Memphis Depay.


Reports indicate that the striker generously presented Davido with a Rolex wristwatch worth millions of naira during his 30th birthday celebration. This happened after gifting his wife Chioma an expensive car for valentine .


Confirming the news on his Instagram story, Davido expressed gratitude for the thoughtful gesture, highlighting it as the first time he has received a gift of this magnitude. Despite having received monetary gifts from several Nigerian celebrities during past birthdays, Davido noted that he had previously donated such gifts to charity.


The singer also reflected on his own generous nature, expressing that he has always been accustomed to giving rather than receiving. In a heartfelt message, he thanked Memphis Depay for the extravagant present, stating, "N*gga bought me a Rolex on his own birthday! I never receive gifts, I’ve always been the one to gift people.
