According to reports circulating online, mohbad's grieving mother, captured in a widely shared recording, has accused Joseph (mohbad's father) of exploiting Mohbad's death for attention and financial gain from the Nigerians.

In her emotional tirade against Joseph Aloba, she asserted that a DNA test would disprove his claim of being Mohbad's biological father. She claimed that Joseph has never shown genuine care for the children, instead using them as a means to collect money for himself.

Her statement included sharp rebukes directed at Joseph, questioning his motives and integrity. “You know I’m married to someone else. He’s not the owner of those kids; he’s just taking money on their behalf and you say you’re looking for justice for Mohbad.”
