Manchester United and PSG Closest in Pole Position for Osimhen's Signature
Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have emerged as the top contenders to secure the highly sought-after signature of Victor Osimhen, as reported by The Independent. Previously, Chelsea and Arsenal were also rumored to be interested in the Nigerian international. However, recent reports from The Independent suggest that Manchester United and PSG are now leading the race to sign the Napoli striker. Manchester United's financial strength has been bolstered by the arrival of Sir Jim Ratcliffe as a co-owner, giving them more resources for potential transfers. Meanwhile, PSG is eyeing Osimhen as a potential replacement for Kylian Mbappe, who is expected to depart the club in the upcoming summer transfer window. Osimhen's contract includes a release clause ranging between $120 million to $130 million. So far this season, Osimhen has contributed 13 goals and four assists across all competitions.
