As stated in the document, March 2, 2024, is designated as Burna Boy Day in the City of Boston, acknowledging the artist's significant impact on the city's multicultural landscape. Burna Boy's popularity in Boston has been evident through numerous sold-out shows since his international breakthrough in 2018.

Mr. Jollof Claims Burna Boy Turned Down N1 Billion Performance Offer

  Nigerian comedian and event organizer, Freedom Okpetoritse Atsepoyi, famously known as Mr Jollof, has alleged that singer Burna Boy turned down a whopping N1 billion offer to perform at a concert organized by him and a group of investors in Warri, Delta State. According to Mr Jollof, they made an offer of $1 million (equivalent to N1.3 billion) to Burna Boy's team, but it was rejected on the grounds that it fell below the singer's usual performance fee. Taking to Instagram, the comedian shared the revelation in Pidgin English, stating, "Me and some investors reached out to Burna Boy’s team for a concert in Delta State for One Million US Dollars (N1.3 billion at today’s rate). Paul Pogba Suspended for Four Years Due to Doping Violation

 France's World Cup champion, Paul Pogba, has been handed a four-year ban from football due to doping violations, effectively halting his career as he approaches his 31st birthday in March. The ban comes after Pogba was suspended since September last year following a doping test conducted in August, which revealed elevated levels of testosterone—a hormone known to enhance athletes' endurance. The tribunal found Pogba guilty of violating anti-doping regulations after detecting "non-endogenous testosterone metabolites," further emphasizing the seriousness of the offence. Following the analysis of a second test sample, the former Manchester United midfielder has been met with the severe penalty of a four-year ban, marking one of the most stringent punishments for doping in sports.

Transfer Update: Ahmed Musa Departs Turkish Club Sivasspor

Super Eagles captain, Ahmed Musa, has officially ended his contract with Turkish Super Lig side, Sivasspor.  The mutual termination of the agreement between Musa and Sivasspor was prompted by the club's failure to meet his salary obligations over the past six months.  The 31-year-old has already set his sights on securing a transfer to a new club in the upcoming summer transfer window.  Musa made the switch to Sivasspor from another Turkish club, Fatih Karagumruk, in 2022.  Despite featuring in nine league matches for the team, he was unable to find the back of the net.
