Portable calls himself a New name check to know

 


Controversial singer Habeeb Okikiola, alias Portable, has declared himself the successor to the late Afrobeat pioneer Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. Portable who has Earlier called himself the Street ''Don Jazzy''  has now  added another name to his names.


He said that his fans gave him the title “Newborn Fela” and he accepted it.

On the latest episode of Bae U Barbi show “Curiosity Made Me Ask,” Portable said, “I didn’t give myself the Name ‘Newborn Fela’. My fans gave it to me. You know I have a lot of fans, my fans got me to this point.

"Usually you have to be brave, a lion is not afraid to go alone."

For those who still refer to him as an aspiring musician, Portable said: “Which superstar do you know who is bigger than me in Nigeria?” I am the one they are talking about now: a fashionable musician. My language is a trend, my slang is a trend, my movement is a trend, the way I dress is a trend.
